Guy:

If DEI policies were so beneficial why did corporations rush away from it as soon as they could? This article was all about benefits to education, with just burying the massive costs to corporations, the military, etc. DEI was imposing public behavior on schools, the military, businesses, and any organization receiving federal funds.

Take Target for example. Target’s corporate behavior reflected DEI throughout the corporation from admin to the floor sales people prior to DEI, as was the case in businesses and organizations all across the country. Yet the implementstion of public DEI added 4% to corporate expenses which were passed on to the consumers. Additional costs were added to every organization. DEI was as ignorant of its impact as was other initiatives such as WOKE. Americans were not stupid and policies like DEI were contributed to putting Trump in the White House. These were tax dollars imposing behaviors of organizations. The only ones bemoaning the death of DEI are those who actually received funds managing DEI and students who were receiving funds. As for this article, it was clear that DEI was a first step toward eliminating costs for college. My Democratic Party left the dining car and threw themselves under Sane Train. The Democratic Party is in desperate need of a radical move toward new and insightful leadership and tossing their entire platform off the next bridge.

Perhaps we need a new party of sanity!

You ignore the discrimination against people who don’t fall within the preferential groups.

Example: we have 2,000 FAA vacancies, yet 1,000 qualified applicants were rejected because they were white.

College leftists have lost all credibility. The Post is misleading and dishonest regarding the benefits of DEI. The authors referenced funding such as Pell Grants as DEI benefits. Intentionally false.

Guy, you have a leftist bias.
