I've been very fortunate to have met people who gave me the gift of their time. It's such a precious commodity, so when someone says, "What else can I do for you?" it inspires me to be as giving with the next person I meet.

Years ago the check engine light on my Ford F-150 came on, preventing the truck from passing the annual inspection. I took the truck to Affordable Kar Kare in Mesquite, Texas. They said the light came on because of a kinked hose; they fixed the hose without charge. "Drive a hundred miles, and the light will go out." The truck passed inspection at the nearby Mobil station, and I will always remember Affordable Kar Kare.

A timely note indeed. (Nice to hear from real guy time to time) people are real busy, I think covid disrupted our interactions long term. Not being able to see people smile. Service work seems harder than ever to do these days...we all have good days and the bad ones...As a kid in boyscouts we were schooled in leaving things better than we found them. This applies here as well. It is work worth doing. Ever couple of weeks I do a "karma straightening day" and catch up the the betterment idea. ~TEU
